Ting Xi is one of a group of young musicians who have found their home here in Intune Music School, teaching pop violin to students who are both adults and teenagers alike! A member of the Music Elective Programme (MEP) in her school, she has performed at numerous recitals, and has also led her school’s string ensemble for various performances.
Students who have attended Tingxi’s lessons describe her as patient, detailed, and able to guide beginners with various tips as to how to hold the bow properly, how to play various notes accurately, as well as how to produce good sounds on the violin. Tingxi has a talent for teaching, and has a keen eye for observing students’ mistakes, so that she can correct them during the lesson.
Classically trained since young, Tingxi has achieved qualifications in Grade 8 Theory and Practical (Violin) from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), and has also achieved ATCL (Associate of Trinity College London - Recital) and LTCL (Licentiate of Trinity College London - Recital) qualifications.
