Rit Xu is an instructor here at Intune Music School, specializing in pop flute courses. He is currently a full time music student at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, and is highly sought-after as a flute player in the local pop music scene.

Rit is well known for his versatility on other members of the flute family such as the bamboo flute, shakahuchi (Japanese flute) and the bansuri, the Indian flute. He has also worked together in the recording studio with many of the big names in the music industry such as Composer Iskandar Ismail, Dick Lee, Sydney Tan, Jiu Jian and many others.

As a performer, Rit has performed together with musicians such as Tama Goh, Jimmy Lee, Joshua Wan, Ruth Ling, Eric Chiryoku, and played for many singers such as Cai Qin, Marcus Chen Jian Bin, Wan Fang, Singapore Idol Taufik Batisah and various others.

Rit is also a founding member of the Singapore Pop Orchestra. Besides performing, he dedicates his spare time to doing extensive research in flute pedagogy and playing techniques so as to present his students with the most up to date information and knowledge on flute playing.
