Meryl Joan Lee

Meryl is a highly accomplished singer in the local music scene and specialises in jazz singing. She is currently teaching jazz vocals at Intune Music School.

As a professional vocalist, she has many performances under her belt. She was the opening item for the Fashion Season @ Orchard 2010, and she was also invited to perform for the grand opening of LV 2009 @ ION Orchard. She also performed at various shopping centres like Wisma Atria and Paragon, and did her part for charity at Child Aid 2008, performing alongside jazz drummer prodigy Tiga Onitsuka.

Meryl also performed at prestigious performance venues like the Esplanade venues (Esplanade Hall, Concourse, Esplanade Waterfront and Outdoor Theatre), Mandarin Gallery, Marina Floating Platform, Keppel Bay and many top hotels in Singapore.

Meryl is also a prolific recording artiste, having done recordings for Youth Olympic Games 2010, Asian Youth Games 2009, and also Chingay 2009. She also assisted Cultural Medallion winner Iskandar Ismail in vocal backups for his songs.

As a jazz singing instructor, she will certainly be able to impart some of that wonderful passion for jazz and for performing to her students!
