InTune's Staffs
Chi Sheng (冯启胜) is one of the directors of InTune Music School LLP, and has 6 years of teaching experience with an established pop music school in Singapore. He specializes in pop songwriting and sing-and-play courses, and has achieved Honours for the London College of Music Pop Vocals Grade 8 Examinations, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree - Upper 2nd Class Honours in Recording Arts from Middlesex University, in partnership with the School of Audio Engineering (SAE) Institute, Singapore. He also has qualifications in Grade 8 (Theory and Practical) Classical Piano from the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM).
As a songwriter, Chi Sheng has published a number of songs for various artistes, including
《这次是真的》 for Hong Kong Artiste Tony Leung Chiu Wai ,
《时限》, for Regional Artiste Maggie Teng, and also
《到达》, co-written with Joey Yap, which was the theme song for local arts film "Smell of Rain".
In terms of production experience, Chi Sheng has co-produced 2 songs with Mr. Aaron Lim: 《到达》 and 《不曾离开》 for the local arts film, "Smell of Rain". Chi Sheng also co-produced 2 songs: 《寂寞原点》and 《让我抱紧你》 for artistes Silver Ang (Superstar 2005 2nd runner-up) and Nicholas Leong. He also produced a Great Eastern advertisement jingle, which has been aired on TV since March 2007.
Chi Sheng was also one of the main keyboardists at Music Dreamer Café from 1999-2005, performing with local artiste Cai Li Lian and former lead singer of ‘Dreamz FM’ Ric Low. Chi Sheng also held his solo concert called “Chi Sheng and Star Performers in Concert” at the Esplanade Recital Studio on 19 October 2006, and has performed at various Esplanade venues, the recent one being Esplanade Waterfront, with Nicole Lai and Aaron Lim as vocalists.
